Ocasionally, I participate in TechARP - an online IT community, although not as active as Lowyat Forums but it's a nice place to be in, not so much of /k/ nonsense over there.
Last year, Adrian - the boss of TechARP organized a BBQ Party, I signed up for it but it was unfortunate that the event was cancelled as his wife, Jenny was admitted to hospital. All of us prayed for her speedy recovery and this year we were able to pull out that BBQ party sucessfully. The last time I saw Adrian was back at 2006, but we constantly kept in touch via MSN.

A geek gathering, people from all walk of life, all age came together and talked in one common 1337 language.

Chilling out at Adrian's place
Adrian's place is at Surian Condominiums

It is a very nice place, good environment, friendly and trained security guards, unlike those I encountered during my GPS tracklog mission.

This is the workstation of a true geek, guess what PC casing is he using? Answer = none.

There's Yong, me and Dominic (Lacus) enjoying the food there, cooked by Jenny, it's awesomely delicious.

Serious discussion going on. Among topics we discussed include iPhone GPS mechanism, cellphone GPS triangulation, iPad, PC hardwares, world cup and a little on Malaysia politics (isn't politics the best mamak discussion topic?). As if the evening wasn't sufficient to finish our discussions, we continued them on the forum.

karhoe.net rendered well on iPad as well
Let's not forget the BBQ

It was extremely difficult getting the fire to start, the wind was blowing strong and coupled with the droplets of rain which certainly didn't help.

FYI, I have also won 2 lucky draw competition from TechARP - a graphics card, and a pair of performance RAM. Join TechARP today and you too could perhaps win something someday.
