I've heard from various websites that it is the first retail store that allows you to view, play around with, buy, and carry home a Dell laptop. Normally, Dell laptops can only be purchased through online or via telephone. The shop mentioned is TecAsia on the fourth floor of Lowyat Plaza. Today, I went to Lowyat Plaza to send some stuffs for warranty and also to purchase some PC hardwares (and window shopping). I went to many shops to search for the lowest price possible till I came across this amazing shop, it looks totally different from other retail shops. It's called TecAsia. I thought of going in to have a look, and once I went in, I was inside there for 4 hours. The reason?

Well, I took like 30 mins to play with all the Dell XPS laptops, then browsed through their products, till I came across Nintendo Wii ! So I went to try it. I've always heard of it, read about it, but never tried it. Apparently, Nintendo Wii is more interactive, in such that you can swing and move the controller around while playing the game. So I tried Wii Sports, there are 5 'sports' in it, Bowling, Baseball, Golf, Boxing, Tennis.

I started playing Tennis, it was fun! Hold the controller on the right hand as if you are holding the tennis racquet handle. Then push button A to serve the ball, and once the ball is in the air, swing your right hand as if you want to hit the ball on the air, then then the controller vibrates (when the ball 'contacts' the 'racquet). For the first few minutes, it was awkward because I'm so not used to standing infront of the TV and swinging my hand. But sooner, I got so excited, I was 'smashing' all the while that my hand got so tired and later I realized and I was actually sweating! I didn't realized that I had attracted a large crowd. It seems so real, if I swing it from bottom to up diagonally, it will return the ball to the opponent high towards the direction I swing, if I swing it from up to down fast, it will send a smash. How I wish that there is a basketball game, then I can throw the controller.
Later, a TecAsia staff (Andrew) came to entertain me, and I realized he was one of the seniors from my secondary school, so we chatted abit, and he taught me how to play other games like Boxing. Just grip the controller in your palm, and start punching. Same with the other games, grip the controller like the handle of baseball bat and swing the 'bat' when the ball comes (you can also throw the ball and do all sorts of curvy throw) , for golf, just grip the golf stick and swing it like how Tiger Wolf does it.
After trying out all the game, Andrew told me I could use the latest gaming specs Dell XPS desktop computers for free. After playing Need for Speed Pro Street for a while, I told my younger (who came along) to spend his time there while I finish my shopping, not a bad place to drop a kid for babysitting service eh Money mouth ! It's free for as long as you want. So guys, whenever you pass by Lowyat or Jalan Bukit Bintang area, go and try out the gaming PC's at TecAsia, it's much better than any other cyber cafes around, and best of all, FOC
