Just a week before my finals, I went to Bukit Cahaya with the 'Bukit Aman Extreme Team'. We went for some 'extreme adventure' with Skytrex Adventure. Apparently my old highschool friend Teng Jun is currently working there.

Trying out the flying fox on ground level before moving 20 metres above the tree
Basically the 'extreme adventure' is an 'extreme obstacle' course. We have a harness strapped to our body but that's all, our life depends on our ownselves as we would be attaching the cables (flying fox) and safety ropes ourselves, failing to do so could ultimately result in death! I'm talking about some flying fox 20 metres above ground, spanning 50 metres away.
The first obstacle was climbing up a 20 metres tree using a rope ladder. It was just the first obstacle and I was already exhausted halfway up. The best part of the extreme adventure is that, the pressure is always on because you have to keep moving or those before you would not be able to proceed and eventually there would be a bottleneck.

Halfway through the obstacles, it began to drizzle, and we had no choice but to continue as the nearest chicken escape was a long way to go and that's the only way to exit. I have been leading the entire group during the day which was actually a challenge because most of the time, I would be the first to take the flying fox without anyone on the other side to catch me, so if I couldn't land on the other platform, I would glide back to the middle of two trees.
We also swam at the pool. Apparently it was cleaned every single day. The irony is, we cleaned ourselves in the pool after the extreme adventure. Later, we couldn't bath as the showers were not working. We ended up showering beside the pool using the showers there.
After that, we had BBQ, and unlimited Coke - which eventuallly translated into fever and flu before the exam.
While the others was gambling and going crazy over the virtually unlimited booze and Coke, believe it or not, I was reading F9 - Financial Management, never have I been such a nerd. But it paid dividend, the only page I read on that night came out as a question in the exam.
Halfway through, I drove out to buy some charcoals. The whole hill was not lit with a single lamp and I had to rely on the car lights. The road there was so complicated, it took me 30 mins to escape what would have been an otherwise 5 mins journey. The same thing happened on the way back. I had to use another route and spent another 30 min to reach back the chalet. It was totally dark, I was crossing my fingers I do not encounter any 'paranormal entity'.
The following day, it was time for paintball. It's really a game for those who are rich. Luxury cars can be seen around, including a Hummer. And those people there are fully suited, as if they were from the US Navy Seal, coming back from Iraq.
I was lucky enough to escape with nothing more than a small bruise at the back of my arm. Eventhough the whole game lasted 30 mins, it seems like 2 hours has passed as it was so tensed during the game. Be a chicken and watch as your team mates are 'killed' and the remaining opponents ambushing on you or be a 'hero' and fight Rambo style and risked ending up with bruises.
Overall it was a fun experience. Next stop - River rafting and Mount Kinabalu
