| Last Saturday, I was invited by Nuffnang to join an exclusive launching party for the Blackberry Curve 8520. The party started at 8pm at The Republic in Sunway Pyramid so I thought it would be just perfect to head there right after the Canon Photomarathon in the morning till evening. But things didn't seem to be in favour of me on that day. Read on to find out.
The tickets to the Xberry party came in a pair, so I needed to find some friend to accompany me there, else it would have been very awkward and lonely. So with the additional free ticket in hand, I invited Michelle to the party since she would be at the Canon Photomarathon event as well, so it shouldn't be a problem to head to Sunway Pyramid right after that.
But I was wrong, right after the tiring Canon Photomarathon event, Michelle felt exhausted and had to abandon the whole idea of accompanying me to the Xberry party. So in a last minute attempt, I called some of my friends but none could make it in time for the party.
Feeling dejected, I walked to Sunway Pyramid all by myself. I reached Republic quite early, signed up at Nuffnang booth and got my wrist-band-ticket. I wanted to ffk but I have already RSVP and it would not be nice to ffk as Nuffnang would probably not invite me to any of their future events if I were to do so.
Headed into the VVIP area and there were really very few people. Being alone, I sat on a small round table and started ordering Tiger beer provided by the house.

A couple of weeks back, we had the Golden Start program, which was a joint collaboration between Sunway ACCA Club and a couple of ACCA students. Planning had started much earlier, even before the semester had started, valuable experience obtained throughout the program.
Basically it's a program in which we try to educate the students and giving them insights into the investment field, hence two reputable speakers have been invited, namely Mr Tan Teng Book of I-capital and Mr Terrence of Kenanga Futures.
Final day before the event

So it's here already, HTC latest, most powerful PDA of all time, the HTC HD2 (code name HTC Leo), powered by a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor !

This device is totally different from the rest of HTC PDAs, due to it having the most powerful processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon processor and a capacitive screen, first from HTC. A capacitive screen allows multi touch just like that on an iPhone, and is set to support Windows Mobile 7 when it's released soon. Capacitive screen also allows more light to pass through resulting in a more brilliant and vivid image.
Starting price for this awesome piece of device when it reaches our shores is expected to be around RM3000. Videos have been circulating on the Internet and it looks promising. However, I noticed that it doesn't have a front video camera.
I am waiting for HTC to release the keyboard version of this phone, HTC Touch Pro 3 perhaps?

| I came across the mega extravaganza expansion plan of Sunway University College from their website, from what it looks like, it's going to be a really nice place to study in once it's completed. Already we can feel the wind of change as the new East block is being constructed and progresses towards completion everyday. Apart from that, a new elevator have been built on the South block allowing access to the 4th floor, supposedly being disabled friendly, but one could not use it to travel across to the North block as there is some stairs hindering the movements of the disabled.
Here's the blueprint of the whole expansion plan.
