What happens to a class of students who have been in college for almost 12 hours in a day, and next day, they got 7 hours of continuous lecture and you give them a 10 minutes break?
I myself slept after taking this picture
And not to mention that the room was super cold

It's just been like 4-5 days since I started studying at Sunway University College (SUC) and many things have happened. I made even more friends, and we got even more familiar with the place.
Studying CAT in January is definitely more stressful because we have to finish our first semester in 6 months while those who enroll in March will finish them in December. So my timetable is super packed. Everday, I leave house at 7am, endure the traffic jam along Old Klang Road, reach college at 7.40. Then the first class starts from 8 to 10am, followed by a half an hour break and later on its 10.30 to 12.30am, after that it's lunch time and the last class is from 1.30 to 3.30. Sometimes there will be a 3 hour class so the class will over at 4.30 ! Not to mention, there would be LAN subjects after that on certain days. Say, this friday, my class would start at 8am till 4.30pm, then an hour break before LAN start at 5.30 till 7pm ! That's like 11 hours ! This is insane! That's not all, enduring all the after work jam, I will probably reach home around 7.30pm. That means i'm away from home for almost 13 hours. And this is just the 3rd day.
The good thing is I have made few more friends - Han, Nathan, Wei Jing, Jun, Philip and many more.
I also met some people that I already know - Chan, Frankie Edmund, Mark Sia and Jesicca
Now, the bad thing
5 hours break after CAT course before LAN subject, what am I supposed to do in that 5 hours?
My class, we eventually moved to a bigger colder class, it's like a freezer in there.
Auditorium where we had our Moral Studies, it would fit 300 students and it's very chaotic but fun!
Finally, my textbook, tried to read them, the meaning and terminology used in the book are so deep! I tried to study on myself, it took so long to absorb the information. What I learned in SPM F4 and F5 Accounting is only a tiny fragment of what I learn in CAT.
Anyway, I got 5 textbooks today.
T1 - Recording Financial Transactions
T2 - Information for Management Control (love this one because it involves IT)
T3 - Maintaining Financial Records
T4 - Accounting for Costs
T5 - Managing People & Systems
As for the lecturers, I am glad to have interesting ones. For T1 and T3 it's Mr Akbar, the subject is the easiest and his lessons are exciting at times. Then for T2 and T4 are taught by Ms Yu, she's a little funny but the subject is a little difficult. But for T5, it is considered the hardest paper but it's taught by a very very funny lecturer - Ms. Wong. She doesn't look like a Chinese but she can speak Mandarin and she's really a pure Chinese.
That's all for now, time to start studying. Progress test is next week and if we fail it, we could be barred from the real CAT examination.

Today, I went to Sunway College for orientation, I'm all alone went I reached there, all the new faces that I've seen, after registering myself, I walked around and there I saw Mugen, a primary school friend. We talked together and then went to the MPH (Multi Purpose Hall). There, we were given briefings on everything we need to know.
Then I got to know the guy sitting beside me, Ruben, and during lunch break, I got to know Desmond and Jack. Ruben, Jack and I were from different groups but we managed to change to the same group.
Half a day went by, I realized I'm the only Saujana students in Sunway, at least for the first batch of CAT programme. I'm very very impressed with the facilities there. The campus is big, then they took over Monash block and it's now even bigger, I actually got lost inside there.
Anyway, let the picture do the rest of the talking.
Cafeteria - There's even a San Francisco Coffee there. In the picture is Jack and Desmond
Cafeteria
Computer Learing Centre
Apparently, they have 3 computer labs, and most part of the campus is wifi zo
ne, we can surf the net using any of the PC for free as long as I'm a SUC student. They have over 300-400 computers if I'm not mistaken!
Tun Hussein Onn Library - consists of two floors, over 55,000 square feet. And can seat 700 people at anytime. Sunway students also have the priviledge to borrow books from Monash University College across the road.
Then, Mr TES, the founder of Sunway TES, which manages the financial course division gave us a long but important and meaningful speech, telling us that it isn't like secondary school anymore where last minute revision works, it won't work at all and they are very strict to ensure that they maintain their platinum plus status.
He also said that ACCA UK now treat us as professional students since we are taking up a professional course.
After his speech, we were given briefing on how to register our membership with ACCA in order to take the Computer Based Examinations in June.
That's all for the day, first class begins on Friday.

Well, first of all, Merry Christmas to all of you. I spent my Christmas watching Slam Dunk anime on youtube. I finished all 101 episodes in just a couple of days. It was really addictive and funny.
Then my new year eve was the best one ever. This morning, is the beginning of year 2008, and I'm now legally 18. This means no more restriction in watching movies in cinemas, and I can also go to snooker centres (just joking). I went to Thean Hou Temple to pray for a bright year and hoped that everything will go smoothly this year.
Thinking again, 2007 was over in no time, it seems that time passes quickly. I remembered that today last year, I went to have my hair cut because it was very long. Then when school reopens, my friends gave me that 'look' since I was wearing green long sleeve shirt with blue pants. Then time seemed to pass quickly as we were given alot of exercises and there were test and exams now and then. Without realizing, SPM was just around the corner, and next thing, SPM was over.
Tomorow will be another big day, I'm going to start studying in Sunway College. Tomorow would be the orientation day. Not many of my friends would be going there, guess there are alot of new friends to make. Alot of friends to be added into MSN, phone book and Friendster. Sadly most of my friends are going to penjahit (Taylor's) college and tolong (HELP) college, guess the only time we can meet up is during lunch at Asia Cafe
I'm all ready and prepared to study in college!

Yesterday can be considered as one of the most hectic day in my life. I woke up around 8.30am and I'm supposed to be driving to Sunway College to register myself for CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) course. So I studied the way there via Google Map/Earth. Then I went there around 11am and registered myself, made the necessary payments, walked around the building. Then drove back home.
Right after that, I had my lunch and went down to Lowyat Plaza straight away to collect my salary from Inter-Asia Edifier for working as a promoter during PC Fair. In the same time, I sent my printer to be modified to include a CISS system. Ok, you guys must be wondering, what is CISS? Well, it stands for Continuous Ink Supply System, when this system is installed on your printer, there would be external ink tanks outside your printer which feeds ink to your catridges via tubes. It works via pressure, so the ink would automatically get pumped into the catridges as you print. And to refill, you just need to pour ink inside the tanks. So its more economical, and environment friendly.
Mr Eric from PC3 fixing the printer
This is how it looks like
I also bought a 160GB PATA HDD for my old computer. When the printer is modified, I had to carry it all the way to the Hang Tuah LRT Station, meanwhile assuring that the ink bottle remain in an upright position to avoid it from spilling. When I reached home, I wasted no time and fixed the printer, then installed the hard disk on my old computer. Although I turned off the power and disconnected the cable, I forgotten that some capacitor are still holding charges. So when I put my hand on one of the metal components, I got a little shock.
While fixing the PC, suddenly Jason asks me to go to Steven's Corner for some supper. Well, since I have not had my dinner, I went there and ate my dinpper (dinner + supper) When I was reaching there, I knew I was in deep shit because there were pasar malam on that day, I couldn't find any parking anywhere so I had to park at my primary school. What a distance to walk from there to Steven's Corner.
I ordered nasi lemak biasa, they gave me the chicken...
Then it's roti canai x 2
2 x roti canai + nasi lemak + ayam + teh o ais = RM7.30
I think I forgot to blog about prom night, I'll do so later
