Competition II -SAC Sports day is an annual event organized by the Sunway ACCA Club. Last year I participated in the basketball 3 on 3 tournament with Jun Fei, Vincent and Jia Yun. It was a nice game though but unfortunately we lost during the first round to Wyn Yau's team. It's a nice and competitive game though.

The competition was divided into preliminary group stage and then the knockout stage. In the group stage ala world cup style, each group consists of 3 teams. Unfortunately only 1 team would qualify for the knockout stage i.e. semi final. It's a real shame that such arrangement would mean that by losing the first game, it would not allow the team a chance to redeem theirselves at the second round, as it would be difficult to make it to the knockout stage.

The sun was blazing hot on that day, I was literally roasted. Click Read More to watch the recordings of both the match which I played as well as a glimpse at my 'roasted' skin.

Been joining lots of competiton nowdays. Let's start with this one.

Competition I

The Intervarsity Accounting Quiz.

It was organized by MMU Melaka and Sunway has won the team category in previous years so the pressure mounts on us to bring back the trophy. I joined the team category together with Lih Yen, Cheng Hong, and Andrew.

It's a long story but in the end, my team managed to get 2nd runner up while Viva's team emerged as the eventual champion. Kudos to the Sunway team as Yee Seang emerged as the champion of the individual category so we sort of grabbed almost every prizes available.

Large exhaust pipes, necessary? PDF Print E-mail

I was driving to college one day on the KESAS expressway and I came across this RX8 with a super large twin exhaust pipes. If my automotive knowledge serves me right, the size of exhaust pipe should not be too small or too big, but just to ensure sufficient back pressure to the engine. So really I wonder what sort of modifications have been done to deserve that large exhaust pipes. Normally, I would consider an exhaust pipe to be large if a 325 ml Coca-Cola can could fit into it but as for this car, I guess even the 1.5 litre Coca-cola bottle would fit in it.

Just look closely, the exhaust pipe is as large as the rear lamp.

It didn't last long, both the birds died.

Started that one of the bird was trying to fly, obviously it failed and landed on the ground

P1060368

It's still alive

P1060369

P1060373

Placed it back into its nest, obviously the nest is already too small for these 2 fugly birds so my dad thought we 'shift' them into a bigger homemade nest, a fatal mistake for the 2 birds.

After we did that, the mother bird never came back, and the birds were starved to death. The mother bird was obviously sad, it was flying around the garden, chirping non stop Cry.
