So it was the last day of F7 mock exam, a paper which was so difficult, and required so much of thinking. But it was over nevertheless so we headed to Han Seng's place for a BBQ party.
It has been an epic BBQ party. In the beginning, we followed Ataraxis's car but eventually it seems like he was taking the longer way so we went our own ways and waited for him at BHP station for 30 mins before he eventually arrived there. Then from there, he seemed to be making sudden turnings here and there and it really requires so much of concentration to be driving behind him. There was a time when he was making a reverse manouvere and hit on a cone. Everyone there was honking and beaming their highlights yet he was so clueless. You should have been there to witness the incident.
Anyhow we eventually reached Suriamas but the weather was not on our side, we ended up BBQ-ing under the rain. The epic-ness did not stop there, later on, Vincent's and Kah Kien's car was clamped for indiscriminate parking at Reserved slots. Countless attempts were made to the management which wasn't willing to entertain us on the basis that it's after office hours, so irresponsible of them.

Canon Photomarathon has become an annual event on several Asian countries. I have heard of it a little and didn't pay much attention to it till Michelle invited me to participate in the event, I love photographies but not till the extend of spending monies on DSLR. There's 2 school of thoughts, one preferring digital compacts and the other preferring digital SLR, both having their pros and cons.
As for me, I prefer digital compact, small, easy to carry yet can provide acceptable quality.
DSLR are nice to have, but they are ridiculously heavy, imagine the one which I held above, had battery pack and a 400mm lens.
Back to the topic, I signed up for the Canon Photomarathon event on their website and my registration was then accepted. Being a Canon user, using Powershot A2000IS, participation was at no cost.
It was an exciting day, with free entrance to Sunway Lagoon theme park. Click Read more to read the rest of the post.

I may not have won the Canon Photomarathon, (blog post coming soon), but at least I received some consolation when I won 2 tickets to Sepang this Sunday to watch the MotoGP.
Basically all I had to do is to upload a picture from the event, and get as many friends to click 'Like' on the pictures.

And with this picture, I managed to get 44 people to click 'Like' on this picture which was uploaded to Facebook Canon Malaysia wall page.

For those who doesn't understand this picture, both the creator of Doraemon comic, Fujiko Fujio and Shin Chan, Yoshito Usui have passed away, with the latter died not too long ago.
So in the picture above, we could see both Doraemon and Shin Chan looking towards the evening sun, perhaps thinking of their creator, while Doraemon is seen consoling Shin Chan, who seems to be sad as his creator has just died.
When the creator of Doraemon comic passed away, he left a legacy but not a successor to take over his comic, a group of fans have discussed and came out with their own few page version of the Doraemon comic, to conclude the ending of a great entertaining comic. The 'last episode' of the comic can be read here.
Recently TV Asahi has acquired the rights to Shin Chan, that means the pervert kid would still be around, but definitely it won't be the same as before.

A couple of weeks back, we had the Golden Start program, which was a joint collaboration between Sunway ACCA Club and a couple of ACCA students. Planning had started much earlier, even before the semester had started, valuable experience obtained throughout the program.
Basically it's a program in which we try to educate the students and giving them insights into the investment field, hence two reputable speakers have been invited, namely Mr Tan Teng Book of I-capital and Mr Terrence of Kenanga Futures.
Final day before the event
